    The origin of the name “MAI Finance” is deeply rooted in the personal history and values of its founder, Ms. Meghna Raut, an experienced financial broker whose journey into finance has been shaped by her commitment to serving diverse communities in Australia since 2019. With a wealth of experience catering to clients from varied cultural backgrounds, Meghna possesses a unique understanding of the intricacies of individual financial needs.

    Born in Nepal, Meghna was inspired by the significance of the word “MAI,” which means “mother”. Meghna’s admiration for women who participate in financial decision making, in different aspects of their lives, particularly after having a family, shaped her decision to name her finance company “MAI Finance”.

    After being exposed to the finance industry since 2019, Meghna envisioned a company as a tribute to women, who navigated financial responsibilities with strength and determination. Thus, “MAI Finance” is more than just a name—it symbolizes empowerment and recognition for women who take charge of their financial futures.

    Through MAI Finance, Meghna aims to honor the spirit of women through her actions. She has lived her words by assisting individuals in achieving their financial goals with confidence and independence. Her commitment to this cause has earned her recognition on esteemed platforms such as ABC News, where she has had the opportunity to share insights into fostering financial independence within migrant communities.

    Beyond her professional endeavors, Meghna has been, in the past, deeply involved in community outreach, particularly within the multicultural landscape in Australia. Through her initiatives, she strives to impart financial knowledge and uplift individuals from diverse backgrounds, believing wholeheartedly in the transformative power of financial education. Having started her mortgage broking journey in Tasmania, she now serves clients from all over Australia, 7 days a week.

    Outside the world of finance, Meghna finds fulfillment in her interests and hobbies. A big supporter of women in sports, she actively cheers for women athletes.  Additionally, Meghna loves to hike in nature, read and travel, in her free time.
